The similarities between Hong Kong and the 13Colonies are they both had the Legislative Council and the Executive Council for Central Administration.
In Hong Kong, local administration was formed by the Sanitary Board and the Heung Yee Kuk, but the 13 Colonies were not.
The Britain rules the 13 Colonies with absolute power. But in Hong Kong the British Government appointed Ng Choy as the first Chinese unofficial meanders to play a part in running Hong Kong affairs.
Both in those 13Colonies and Hong Kong need to pay stamp duty. However in Hong Kong allowed to trade freely, but the 13 Colonists were not.

Wow, Charlie, I think your style could use some improvement. I suggest picking a topic, the economic situation perhaps, and then writing a paragraph about it in which you explain all of your points with much detail. That would be improvement over what I consider to be bullet points without the bullets.
I'm confused about the Legco and Ng Choy references; what are you trying to say?
