I had learnt active and passive this week .

We need to decide which type of sentence is best in each situation . When the subject of the sentence is more important than the object, we use an active verb. When the object of the sentences is more important than the subject we use a passive one.

Active example: We made a new kind of material.
Passive: A new kind of material was made.

The article about food fair

It was held an International food fair in Hong Kong Methodist college on the 7Th December,2007 in the afternoon. It was organised by the F.2 studens.
The principal and teachers were invited. All F.2 students cooked their food and soldto the teachers and F.1 students.
In the Intternational food fair , there were a lof of different kinds of food. It cost $2 for each food. The money was donated to the charity. It was a good life education for the F.2 students.

Experience from this food fair

As Mr woo said we can learn things in every things happened.This food fair is a good life education to all of us. In this food fair, I had try my best to be the best. Mandy and I work hard after school every day to design our posters. We have a lot of ideas. We try our best to make posters that to get others attention. Even that we were very tired but we were enjoying. The food fair start unfortunately there was no one walk threw our stall therefore Mandy and I were disapointed. We were even more awful because our group members walked around others stall and tested their food. They reported to us that our things were bad compare with theirs. I was very angry with them. They did not shout loud to attract others attention. Only Mandy and I helped to serve the students ,we were so tired but I was enjoyed to see the student to said our good is fantastic. I have learnt responsibility in this food fair. This is an unforgettable life education experience to me!!

Thailand has about 800 years history. Thailand is located in the Southeast Asia. Thai people's live are closely related to Buddhism and temples. Its national sport in Thai boxing.
Thailand is the world's largest exporter. The most important food in Thailand is rice.
Thai food is popular because variety of sauces are applied to make food , like herbs, spices , curries , garlic and lemon grass.Thai food is usually eaten with a fork and a spoon. Chopsticks are used rarely for the noodle soups. The fork, held in the left hand, is used to put the food into the spoon.

My group had choosen for writing an article for the restaurant review instead of filming this time. My group members and I choose Watami because our friends said that this restaurant is very famious .I learn more things this time . I research the background information of the restaurant from ourselves. I learn how to search the information by myself.Then we went to the restaurant we order the most famous food to introduce. We write the article because we thought that we can have more time to prepare for searching this information and write the taste of the food. I leran to write the article . In this project I also learn to take the photo more professional and try the food. I think next time I must try to to take the cause I saw other groups fliming I think that their video can let me feel happy, the article is too boring.

What I have learnt:
In the preparation of the food fair, I have learnt a lot of valuable things. I have learnt to make cheese cake, take video, upload the video to youtube, combine the video together, cut the video to remove some unuseful things...etc.
But I think the most important thing that I have learnt is how to cooperate with other group members. I learnt to respect and listen to their ideas.I think this is a good life education to all of us.

I choose this recipe for the food fair is because I love to eat chocolate very much. And I all of my friends enjoy eating chocolates too. We think that the taste is good , it is sweet. After we eat chocolate we feel joyful and relax. When we eat chocolate during studying we can be more comfortable and fresh up, to speed up our mind!

I think that the most important word is 'stirring' because I saw so many times in the other recipes, therefore I think that is important for our class to learn. I think this word is about 'mix', because it said that' stirring something with something', therefor i think that that that it taking about put something to mix together.

Weekend Homework

After I read this summary about kids who are picky (fussy) eaters, I think that I am a picky eater too. I hate eating pineapples, I think that they are very sour.They have nasty taste. But I think that children should not be fussy eaters. They should have a good eating habit when they are young. Their parents must help them, therefore they can learn to eat the food that they do not like when they grow up.They should provide difference kinds of food to give them try, also good eating habit can help children to maintain healthy life.

After I read the article about the new seven wonders of the world .I choose the word "ancient".
I choose this world in the article because I have seen few times in it. I think that it must be important for the seven wonders. I guess this word maybe mean old or have long history because it said "ancient ruins, ancient city,ancient stone..."Therefore I think that this word the class should learn it.



If i had to choose a place in Hong Kong to be the ninth wonder of the world. I think I will choose the Ocean Park-the famous park in Hong Kong. Over four million people visit the Ocean Park each year. It has 29 years of history. It is a center for research projects and public awareness programmes for wildlife conservation in Asia. Therefore I think that I wound like to choose this place to be the ninth wonder of the world.

My Hobby

My hoppy is to window-shopping with my friends. We go shopping and talk a lot. Everytime when I am unhappy, I would like to hang out with them and they listen to my secret! We share our join and pain.They are my king and queen in my heart. We always go to Mong Kok and Kolwoon. There are many shoppinjg center. I enjoy my hobby every much!
